First matches in any new league season present the obvious dangers since the data reference base is 3\4 months old. However, looking at the recent history between these two teams and the fact that both sides are largely unchanged during the summer apart from today's departure to Ajax of the Roda striker Soetaers, I think 1.87 @ Pinnacle for the away win is close to user friendly.
I read elsewhere that though PSV have an injury to their in-form striker Robben, who has had testicular surgery, Dennis Rommedahl will fill in.. This clearly means that the away side have fewer balls to juggle with, but strength in depth of the Dutch favourites sways it for me.
PSV
Here's a game that might be worth some consideration:
Last 3
Uralan home 3 2 1 0 3 - 1 7
Torpedo away 3 0 1 2 2 - 6 1
Uralan went to Moscow last weekend to play leaders CSKA and if memory serves me correctly, they conceded 2 goals in a minute half way through the second half to eventually lose 3-0. This is the side that held the same CSKA 2-2 home only in June.
Odds for the home win are 2.40 @ Pinnacle.
Seems to me there are more teams than CSKA that risk a good kicking in the Urals.
Uralan
Hope all you guys have a great season!
